The Mississippi INBRE Telenutrition Center, housed at the University of Southern Mississippi in collaboration with Jackson State University and My Brother's Keeper, Inc., aims to get Mississippians eating better and moving more to live healthier. Using an interdisciplinary team approach as well as community-informed and technology supported strategies, the Center will implement an intensive behavioral therapy program for obesity focusing on diet and physical activity behaviors among young adult African Americans located in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
